  Therefore, we’ve had a very few problems but as in life nothing is life is finite.

 

For example, birthdays or teaching dates.Worms cannot be guaranteed to arrive on a certain date but we will do our best to have them arrive close to the date. Some may arrive a day or two before. Birthdays and holidays are a busy time, it is best to have the worms arrive prior to birthday activites so the gift receiver can take time to care for the worms after their arrival. We also have the option of gift cards allowing the gift receiver to determine when they are ready and willing to properly care for the worms.

 

Weather

 

Worms are live animals and in some instances such as weather conditions orders may take longer to ship. You will be notified if we anticipate a delay. During periods of extreme summer heat and winter cold we reserve the right to decide when orders will be released from our farm.

Our top priority has always been to educate and to satisfy our customers. Please let us know immediately upon receipt if there is any problem with your order.

 

The customer is responsible for the care and condition of live products after delivery.
Worms will be considered to have been delivered alive unless we are notified within 2 hours of the time that the carrier enters them as delivered.
If your worms have not survived alive contact us IMMEDITATELY; Cape Cod Worm Farm, 508-759-5664. DO NOT dispose of the worms or the original package until you contact us. Do not refuse the delivery.
Return orders must have original packaging, and contents. For worms, all the worms , dead or alive! Just like any another retail business we cannot refill or refund an order if we cannot see if the contents have been damaged. We can only refill an order on the amount of worms that are returned-dead or alive.
No credit or refunds will be given for any order that is refused upon delivery.
No claims
Please check your shipping address.
Any charges for incorrect address information or return shipment will be charged to the customer. We only charge the exact fee that is billed to us.
If the error is due to our mistake there will be no charge to the customer.
If there's a problem with a live order the determination of whether the order will be reshipped or refunded is at our discretion.

All items must be in the original shipping carton with the original packing slip or invoice.
All items must be in good condition in order to receive a complete refund.
Unless the item is defective - Delivery and Return shipping and handling costs are not refundable.

 

Gift Cards

 

Cape Cod Worm Farm strives to maintain prices at the lowest cost to you.
Occasionally prices change without notice due to circumstances beyond our control.
1. Treat gift cards as you would cash. 2. If lost or stolen, or used without permission, the card cannot be replaced or the value replenished. 3. Gift cards represents prepayment for goods or service. 4. Gift cards cannot be refunded for cash amount. 5. If all the gift card value is not used, a new gift card for the new value will be issued. 6. Gift card values can be applied to shipping costs but does not include shipping costs. 7. To redeem your gift card the original card itself must physically be sent to 30 Center avenue, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532 or used at our farm. 8.Only original Cape Cod Worm Farm cards can be redeemed.

We’ve been in this business since 1974. Our products are Guaranteed because we look after every order assuring 100% satisfaction before it leaves our premises.

We guarantee that your worms will arrive in good wiggling condition.

 

 

Our specialty is raising and transporting worms. We package all our worms with ample bedding and food for the ride. Worms arrive ready to work and adapt to their new environment.

After 30 years in the worm business we know what works best.

 

 

Validating our Guarantee:

 

First, Worms are live! You help determine their success. The live delivery guarantee only applies to the actual delivery of the product. Once you have them it is your job to care for them; in turn they can do their job for you. Complete instructions are shipped with every order. Read instructions to a T.
Shipping: Worms must be accepted at time of first delivery attempt. Please make sure someone is there to accept delivery. Why? If, the worms are just left on your doorstep, or in a hot truck we can't be held liable for whatever natural or unnatural conditions that will affect your worm's health.

 

We ship worms year around throughout the U.S.

 

If there is a problem with your shipment notification must be made to us within 2 hours of delivery, (508) 759-5664.Worms will be considered to have been delivered alive and in good wiggling condition unless we are notified within 2 hours of the time that the carrier enters them as delivered. We always ship with a tracking number.

 

SHIPPING METHODS:

 

We ship using USPS and provide tracking information for products with a delivery confirmation number. If another carrier is used you will be notified and a tracking number also provided. Tracking/ Confirmation information is emailed to the email address provided to us. If ordering through postal mail, provide us with your phone number or voice mail number and we will contact you with the carrier and tracking information. If you have delivery to a P.O. Box you must provide us with a phone number where we can reach you to alert you when the worms are in transit. If no one is available to receive the order on the first delivery attempt the live delivery guarantee is null and void.

 

DELIVERY CONSIDERATIONS:

 

Holidays

 

Holidays happen, and we ship your worms to succeed. If your order arrives proceeding a holiday we will ship the worms to arrive in time before the holiday or right after. Shipping usually takes 3-4 days. We ship by priority mail. If, there is a Monday holiday and we receive your order within the prior week we will not ship the worms to potentially arrive on Sunday nor Monday Holiday. At our discretion, we may ship your worms the following week. We do not want your worms sitting in a truck somewhere.
For mid-week holidays the same policy applies.

 

Christmas

 

We do a high volume at this time and do our best to accommodate your wishes. Worms cannot be guaranteed to arrive on a certain date but we will do our best to have them arrive close to the date. Some may arrive a day or two before. Remember the holidays are a busy time for everyone, it is best to have the worms arrive prior to the holiday bustle so the gift receiver can take time to care for the worms after their arrival.
